ERP Business Analyst - Chicago IL

Job Description – ERP Business Analyst

Summary

The ERP Business Analyst (BA) works collaboratively with the business users and the extended IT solution delivery team and is responsible for executing the activities associated with the continuous improvement of business processes and systems. The BA must analyze current needs, anticipate future needs and provide solutions for our operations, finance and sales teams in integrating various business operations into one platform. Primary activities include the analysis, design, and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities, enabled by NetSuite functionality and related integrated applications, as well as other business application opportunities.  The BA will engage a variety of stakeholders to understand their business needs and help identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement, aligning with the long-term business strategy.

 

Essential Functions

Continuous Improvement

  1. Promotes the use of business processes using standard NetSuite functionality
  2. Identifies and logs business improvement opportunities in consultation with the Business community
  3. Participates in business process improvement and change sessions in support of process improvement initiatives
  4. Facilitates and/or participates in process simulations and walk-throughs
  5. Ensures appropriate documentation for all activities pertaining to process improvement and change management
  6. Facilities the daily EDI management of data flow between NetSuite and external partners

Business Process Design and Activity Scripting

  1. Performs unit and integration testing as well as develops related documentation
  2. Works closely with business units to keep abreast of the larger business initiatives
  3. Provide support to change agents on all process improvement; change management activities and documentation resulting from process improvement initiatives

Product Support and Training

  1. Provide on-going assistance and training to business application users
  2. Evaluate support needs and assist in the creation of user training materials

Process & Systems Integrity

  1. Ensures process and systems integrity requirements are addressed
  2. Participates in development of security roles profiles for processes within the area
  3. Participates in security administration of Users and Roles, supporting internal job controls
  4. Maintain System and Quality Documentation

 

Qualifications

  1. A bachelor’s degree combined with at least 7+ year’s relevant business experience
  2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the NetSuite technical analyst role
  3. A minimum 5 years of experience with EDI customer and vendor support
  4. A minimum of 2 full lifecycle implementations, preferably NetSuite
  5. Knowledge of business processes, continuous improvement practices, methodologies and tools
  6. Knowledge of NetSuite implementation methodology best practices
  7. Broad understanding of the NetSuite ERP modules and key functionality, ERP, WMS, QM, PBCS
  8. SuiteScript development and general configuration knowledge preferred
  9. Proven experience collaborating with and integrating with 3rd parties, plug-ins and APIs
  10. Working knowledge of cGMP, SOX 404 and FDA CFR Part 11 Compliance
  11. Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  12. High level of flexibility, with strong abilities in time management and prioritization Detail oriented and well organized with the ability to work independently and under tight deadlines

    Product Manager - Communications - Chicago, IL

    Summary

    Reporting to the Director of Product – Power and Communications, the Product Manager – Communications is responsible for the overall category leadership of Cedar’s communications business. This includes being the steward of the line-up from market exploration and concept development through sunsetting of products.  The product manager will work cross-functionally throughout the organization and champion innovative product development for the communications category.  Research and analysis, customer feedback, and understanding of market trends will anchor product development efforts.

    Essential Functions

    1. Develops a strategic plan for the communications category
    2. Monitors market for competitor activities and information, market pricing, market size & trends; market research is focused on identifying customer requirements and exploiting opportunities.
    3. Conducts formal competitor evaluation including analysis of product performance, pricing, and positioning.
    4. Manages the development process to ensure on-time, on-spec, and on-budget delivery.
    5. Interacts closely with all groups involved in the product development process; Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and Sr Management.
    6. Supports Marketing in development of packaging, digital content and other collateral marketing materials.
    7. Coordinates go-to-market plans with the commercial and supply organizations to ensure product readiness.
    8. Leads the internal education process for all communications product lines, including the customer care group.

    Qualifications

    1. Experience with consumer electronics, preferably in communications.
    2. Solid background in product development with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a category leader or product manager.

      Summary

      The Senior DSP Engineer is responsible developing efficient DSP solutions for consumer electronics.

      Essential Functions

      1. Design embedded DSP firmware for consumer electronics.

      Qualifications

        Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Cincinnati, OH

        Summary

        The Senior Embedded Software Engineer primary role is to evaluate camera hardware and software for camera and vision products.  This includes SoCs, sensors, and software, such as vision libraries.  In addition, the Senior Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for developing embedded system hardware and software for other Cedar product categories such as radar detectors and CB radios.

          Customer Service Expert - Cincinnati, OH

          Summary

          Provide all facets of customer service for various electronic devices while using multiple systems (phone, CRM, help desk software, etc.) in accordance with work experience and skill set. Assist CCG and e-Commerce Management in achieving all customer advocacy and company promotional & revenue objectives.

          DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

          1. Field email, Live Chat, phone, or social media inquiries on a wide variety of topics including order processing, product features and operation, complaint resolution, troubleshooting and repairs, billing questions, etc.
          1. Assist customers with placing orders, refund requests, or exchanges.
